There was good news for Ireland's burgeoning craft brewing sector in last week's budget, with Minister for Finance Michael Noonan announcing an extension of the qualifying limit for excise duty relief for microbreweries.

In his budget speech, Noonan said that microbreweries in Ireland had been ''a success story in recent years.
