Minister for Finance Michael Noonan and Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform Brendan Howlin will deliver the 2014 budget at 2.30 pm today.

The government has already confirmed that €2.5 billion will be taken out of the economy next year, split between €1.6 billion in revenue-raising measures and €0.9 billion in expenditure cuts.
