Buckley expected to take INM chair

Businessman Leslie Buckley is tipped to become the new chairman of Independent News and Media (INM) tomorrow, just over a year after he was voted off the board of the company.

Businessman Leslie Buckley is tipped to become the new chairman of Independent News and Media (INM) tomorrow, just over a year after he was voted off the board of the company.

An extraordinary general meeting (egm) is being held tomorrow to vote in Buckley - a nominee of the largest shareholder Denis O'Brien - and three other new directors.

The other appointments are Jerome Kennedy, Triona Mullane and Len O'Hagan.
