Enterprise Minister Richard Bruton has hit back at criticism by US President Barack Obama of Ireland’s corporation tax policy.

Bruton said in a statement this afternoon that the Government, the Department of Enterprise and the country’s enterprise agencies do not promote or encourage companies “to engage in any practices which bring little or no substance, in terms of jobs or economic activity, to Ireland.”
