There are four Brown Thomas outlets in Ireland – in Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway – covering 227,000 square feet of shop space. The shops are at their busiest at weekends and during December. There are 800 people working in Brown Thomas on Grafton Street, serving four million customers a year.

Galen and Hilary Weston bought Brown Thomas in 1971 and merged it with Switzers, moving the store to its current location on Grafton Street.
