British property market struggles to recover

Analysts believe the downward trend in the British housing market is set to continue, despite optimistic claims by estate agents that the market is bottoming out.

Analysts believe the downward trend in the British housing market is set to continue, despite optimistic claims by estate agents that the market is bottoming out.

A report by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) last Tuesday claimed property sales between December and February had reached their lowest level in at least 31 years. An average of only nine homes were sold per surveyor over the three months.
