British financier and venture capitalist Edmund Truell is leading an investment vehicle which is taking a stake of up to 20 per cent in financial services group IFG.

Truell, who has been described as one of the wealthiest and brightest venture capitalists in Britain, is leading Fiordland, a vehicle set up to take up a stake in the up coming rights issue.
