Asking prices rose by a massive 5 per cent in the three months to June

Homebuyers and sellers could be caught in two minds this summer. On the one hand, the lack of housing is still severe, pointing to substantial price gains and a market favouring sellers. However, the uncertainties created by Brexit serve as a timely reminder that economic prospects can’t be taken for granted, perhaps tilting the balance back towards home buyers as deals are negotiated.
