Brehon Capital Partners has emerged as the frontrunner to buy the Mount Wolseley Hotel and Golf Resort out of examinership, The Sunday Business Post has learned.

The Carlow Golf Resort, which owes various banks €60 million, asked the High Court for protection from its creditors in April to put a rescue plan in place and save up to 175 jobs.
