Branching out with Ranelagh wine bar

Building on the success of his first three restaurants in Dublin - Dish, formerly in Temple Bar; the Canal Bank Cafe on Upper Leeson Street; and Tribeca, in Ranelagh - Trevor Browne has opened a wine bar above the Ranelagh restaurant.

‘‘We opened Tribeca in 2001 and it’s now well established, so we decided to keep the name and call the new venture Tribeca Wine Bar,” said the 36-yearold.

Browne grew up in Ranelagh and began his career as a waiter in the Elephant & Castle restaurant in Temple Bar.
