Boyzone profits rise despite inactivity

Boyzone's retained profits doubled in the year to August 31, 2004, according to accounts just filed.

Boyzone's retained profits doubled in the year to August 31, 2004, according to accounts just filed. Accumulated profits at the boy band's company, Lunaria, jumped from €273,000 to €557,000 during the financial year. The company was set up in 2000.

The most recent accounts show that the band was owed more than €720,000 from debtors at the end of the financial year, while it owed creditors just €260,000.

Lunaria had almost €98,000 in the bank, up from €41,000...
