Bowen company builds sales to almost €190m

Turnover at Cork firm Bowen Construction rose more than 50 per cent last year to €187.9 million, making it one of Ireland’s biggest building firms.

Turnover at Cork firm Bowen Construction rose more than 50 per cent last year to €187.9 million, making it one of Ireland’s biggest building firms.

The company’s pre-tax profit almost doubled to €3.7 million in the year to the end of March 2005, up from €1.9 million the previous year. Turnover in the 2004 financial year was almost €123.8 million.
