Bottle design heralds revamp for milk

Avonmore has launched a new jug shaped design for its two-litre milk bottles, which it says make its milk more modern, distinctive and easier to pour.

Until last Friday, all milk brands had been using the same design for milk containers, with the labels marking the only difference between them. The jug shape has been in development for nearly two years with British design agency Touch, following research that Avonmore said showed consumers had ‘‘issues’’ with traditional two-litre milk bottles.
