A US investment firm which bought a giant loan book from Bank of Scotland Ireland (BoSI) last year has launched a legal salvo against errant borrowers.

A US investment firm which bought a giant loan book from Bank of Scotland Ireland (BoSI) last year has launched a legal salvo against errant borrowers.

VHP, which is part of giant US-group Varde Partners, has initiated more than 70 different sets of legal proceedings this year with more than ten cases filed in the last week. The cases are a mix of plenary and summary actions against both companies and named individuals.
