Bord Pleanala decision on Abbeville in next two months

The future of Charles Haughey’s 230-acre estate in north Co Dublin is due to be decided in early July.

An Bord Pleanala is to make a decision on the estate after environmental watchdog An Taisce appealed the decision by Fingal County Council to grant planning permission to convert Abbeville, in Kinsealy, into a luxury holiday and golf complex with a development of upmarket homes.

The planning board also received an appeal by the developer, Manor Park Homebuilders, to the conditions in the planning permission granted by Fingal County Council.
