Bord na Móna is on the hunt for a new managing director who will have his pay capped at €200,000.

That will be a drop on the €237,000 salary of existing managing director Gabriel D’Arcy, who is reaching the end of his seven-year term in 2015.

Bord na Móna confirmed that the pay will be in line with public sector guidelines, which has imposed a €200,000 cap on all new appointments.
