Bord Gais wins Diageo renewable energy deal

Bord Gais has agreed a deal with drinks company Diageo Ireland to supply four of its breweries in Ireland with renewable energy.

Bord Gais has agreed a deal with drinks company Diageo Ireland to supply four of its breweries in Ireland with renewable energy.

The contract, valued at €2.5 million in year one, will see Bord Gais supply wind-generated energy to Diageo breweries, including Waterford Brewery, St Francis Abbey in Kilkenny and Great Northern Brewery in Louth.
