Bord Ga¤ is will seek approval this week for a cut in prices for its domestic and small business users from the Commission for Energy Regulation (CER).

The firm, which has 600,000 gas customers and 150,000 electricity customers, will submit its tariff proposal to the CER ahead of a deadline of July 31, it is believed this is in the region of 5 per cent.
