Staff at Bord Gáis Energy have been told that the company is looking for voluntary redundancies in a bid to cut costs.

The state-backed energy company is aiming to reduce its pay-related costs by 10 per cent by next year, The Sunday Business Post has learned. Informed sources said that voluntary redundancy offer was ‘‘one part of the process but not the only mechanism by which the company would achieve that target’’....
