Boots to cut medicine prices from Friday

Sufferers from chronic conditions like asthma will benefit most as Boots cuts prescription medicine prices.

Medicine prices to fall by 25%

Boots Ireland has today announced an average price cut of 25 per cent for prescription medicines.

Across the top ten most expensive prescription medicines, all will reduce in price, with an average saving of 25 per cent, the retailer said.

The new prices will come into effect from Friday 1 June.
