Property agents are hiring again, with staffing levels starting to approach pre-boom levels as the housing market's recovery gathers momentum.

The trend is particularly evident in Dublin, where the uplift in activity is most marked.

In the wake of the economic crash in 2007/2008, many of the country's largest agencies reduced staff levels by between 40 and 50 per cent.
