A Bonham’s sale in London this week offers a strong selection of works by women studio potters, some long-established and others with growing reputations. Estimates range from £1,500-£2,000 for Beetle (Cydianirus ornatus), a large slipware vase by Kitty Shepherd, to £20,000-£25,000 for A Footed Bowl from 1975 by Lucie Rie.
