The first tax settlements relating to single-premium insurance products appeared in last week's quarterly tax defaulters list from the Revenue Commissioners.

The first tax settlements relating to single-premium insurance products appeared in last week's quarterly tax defaulters list from the Revenue Commissioners.

According to the list, in the third quarter of this year tax settlements totalling just over €1 million were made by four people who had undeclared income in single premium insurance products.

One chap from Donegal handed over €583,000 from a single premium policy.
