BMW hypes up entry to EV world

BMW reckons it will lead the way with its new electric cars in terms of sustainability, writes Paul Healy.

The BMW i3: the electric car has a shell that weighs less than half that of a conventional vehicle and the battery can be fully charged in three hours.
