Bloxham begins €20.5m Morgan Stanley case

Bloxham's lawyers open proceedings tomorrow in a €20.5 million case against investment bank Morgan Stanley in London's High Court.

The partners of Bloxham stockbrokers face a nervous day tomorrow, as the firm's lawyers open proceedings in a €20.5 million case against investment bank Morgan Stanley in London's High Court.

Bloxham, which was put into liquidation last month after a capital shortfall and financial irregularities were uncovered in its accounts, is suing Morgan Stanley over alleged breach of contract and for losses the Irish stockbroking firm incurred from client payouts on a bad investment.
