Blacknight invests in new Carlow data centre

Irish domain registrar and hosting company, Blacknight has said that it is currently constructing a new data centre at its Carlow headquarters.

Irish domain registrar and hosting company, Blacknight has said that it is currently constructing a new data centre at its Carlow headquarters.

The data centre, which is currently under construction, will be completed by the end of 2012 and the first phase of investment in the project will amount to €750,000 but will rise substantially in further phases, the company said. It will house 700 servers on the day it opens but that will grow...
