O'Neill's pub at The Point in Cahersiveen in Kerry.

One of our favourite places is **O'Neill's pub** (left) at The Point in Cahersiveen in Kerry, which is listed in the pubs section of the Michelin Eating Out guide. They do great fish cooked simply but well, which sounds uncomplicated, but which actually isn't an easy thing to do. There are no desserts, so the focus is purely on the fish.

It's beside the sea, just as you come off the ferry from Valentia Island...
