Despite the effect the economic slowdown has had on the restaurant trade, some eateries continue to buck the trend. Sushi King, Dublin’s only Irish-owned sushi shop, is one such restaurant. Building on the success of its first outlet on Baggot Street, founders Audrey Gargan and Rodney Sheridan have opened a second Sushi King in the capital.
