Mozzarella from Macroom goes down a treat

One of Cork’s best-known artisan food products is proving to be a big hit in the capital. Around €1,000 worth of the buffalo mozzarella made by Toonsbridge Dairy near Macroom has been sold in SuperValu’s Blackrock store every week since it went on sale there. Within the next fortnight, it will be rolled out to SuperValu stores in Churchtown, Deansgrange, Lucan, Knocklyon and Swords.
