Bird's Eye recalls products as "precaution" after horse DNA found

For Ireland the products include Traditional Spaghetti Bolognese 340g, Shepherd’s Pie 400g and Beef Lasagne 400g.

Bird’s Eye is recalling a number of products after discovering horse DNA in a product produced by a Dutch supplier.

For Ireland the products include Traditional Spaghetti Bolognese 340g, Shepherd’s Pie 400g and Beef Lasagne 400g.

Bird's Eye said a Chilli Con Carne product sold in Belgium and produced by Frigilunch in Netherlands tested positive for two per cent horse DNA.
