The bill establishing the €6.8 billion Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) has been published and is expected to be enacted before the summer recess.

The bill, which will now begin its journey through the Houses of the Oireachtas, also puts NewEra - the body set up to manage the state's shareholdings in semi-state companies - on a statutory footing.
