Biking for Barretstown
Motorbike enthusiasts aim to raise at least €25,000 for Barretstown, the children’s charity, with a 180-kilometre run over the Wicklow mountains next month.
The Over The Gaps run on April 19 will take motorcyclists from Poulaphouca House in Hollywood, Co Wicklow, over the Sally Gap and Wicklow Gap, and back to Barretstown Castle for a family barbecue. The event has the support of Irish motorbike champion Gary Ennis and Russ Malkin, who planned and starred in the Long Way Down and Long Way Round series with Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman.
