After being the poor relation to booming car dealerships during the Celtic tiger, bicycle shops are experiencing a dramatic surge in business.

Helped by cost-cutting consumers and the government’s cycle-to-work scheme, some shops are witnessing their strongest sales in two decades. All over the country, it seems the number of people swapping their cars for bikes is on the rise.
