Big increase in Mazda profits

Mazda profits are reported to be up 46 per cent for the last fiscal year, with net income standing at 66.7 billion yen, against 45.8 billion yen a year earlier.

Mazda profits are reported to be up 46 per cent for the last fiscal year, with net income standing at 66.7 billion yen, against 45.8 billion yen a year earlier.

During the period, sales increased in value by 8.3 per cent. Sales in Japan were up by 8.9 per cent but overseas sales account for about 70 per cent of the company’s total revenue, with Europe, China and the US doing particularly well.
