The world’s most expensive bottle of white wine, a regular-sized bottle of Chateau d’Yquem 1787, sold last week for just under €100,000. The week before that, a record-breaking $10.5 million was paid for the contents of a single collector’s wine cellar.

The Chateau d’Yquem was bottled in the same year as the world’s most expensive bottle of wine - the ‘Jefferson’ Lafite.
