A bidding war is emerging for the Grand Canal Theatre in Dublin, with a slew of private equity houses, high net worth individuals and entertainment corporations all expressing an interest in acquiring the docklands venue.

Live Nation, the international entertainment giant that currently operates the venue, is believed to be the frontrunner, but it faces significant competition to snare the property.
