Irish universities have embraced ICT in many forms, from high performance computing and research, to virtual reality and video in teaching material.
But the University of Limerick initiative in setting up a fully functional trading floor is certainly unique. Based in the Kemmy Business School, the 24-workstation virtual trading room works with live financial price feeds across a range of markets.
