Amazon has announced plans to develop an online grocery arm in the US, expanding a same-day delivery business it already runs out of Seattle to other US cities and possibly overseas. A sign of the times, it's another reminder why Irish businesses in the sector need to up their game and offer just-in-time services, according to Alan Connor, commercial director of Exchequer Ireland.
