Bermuda-based firm joins race for Merrion Capital

A Bermuda-based investment firm is in discussions about buying a stake in Merrion Capital, The Sunday Business Post understands.

A Bermuda-based investment firm is in discussions about buying a stake in Merrion Capital, *The Sunday Business Post* understands.

Somers Limited, a division of Bermuda based fund manager ICM, which reports £1.5 billion (€1.8 billion) in assets under management, is exploring a potential investment in the stockbrokers.

Dublin-based Brehon Capital Partners are also thought to be still involved in discussions to invest in Merrion and sources believe it could co-invest with the Bermuda-based firm.
