The Benetton family is to offer €276.6 million for the 33 per cent of shares it doesn’t own in the Benetton Group.

The family wants to delist the Italian clothing maker as growing competition erodes its earnings and market value.

Edizione Holding, which owns 67 percent of Benetton, has said it will offer €4.6 a share for all remaining shares.
