Belfast-based technology company SLA is in negotiations with a mobile operator with businesses across a number of countries in the Middle East.

Nic Stirk, SLA’s chief executive, said the company was ‘‘in early-stage negotiations with a substantial operator’’ in relation to a number of specific business areas, with a view to entering the market in the Middle East.

‘‘We have identified tangible opportunities in the region,” he said....
