Less than a year after he stepped down as chief executive of IBI Corporate Finance, Peter Crowley is back making waves in the investment world.

FL Partners, the boutique investment firm that he set up with fellow financier Neill Hughes, has this weekend bought Kayfoam Woolfson, the Irish bedding firm that makes Odearest beds.
