Say fine art and David Beckham does not immediately spring to mind, but an accomplished drawing by the footballer features in Bonham’s sporting memorabilia sale on March 13.

The drawing, of a greyhound called Rosie Red depicted on the track at Walthamstow Stadium, was included with one of two hitherto unpublished letters written in 1991 by the then 16year-old Beckham to his friend Lee and offered in the sale.
