The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI) is considering proposals from Eircom to reword the sponsorship stings for its directory enquiries service that were suspended by Today FM last week.

The station suspended the stings - thought to be worth €150,000 - following a series of rulings by regulators about the Eircom directory enquiries service.
