Bausch & Lomb announces investment upgrade at Waterford plant

US healthcare firm Bausch & Lomb today announced a plan to invest in upgraded production systems in its Waterford facility.

US healthcare firm Bausch & Lomb today announced a plan to invest in upgraded production systems in its Waterford facility.

The move comes a week after a cost reduction agreement the company made with its employees to make the plant viable for the future. The firm was originally seeking up to 200 redundancies and pay cuts for up to 20 per cent of its staff at the plant.
