Beef magnate Larry Goodman was the successful bidder for a large stake in Dublin’s Blackrock Clinic, The Sunday Business Post understands.
Loans secured on a 28 per cent share of the private hospital group being sold as part of the ongoing liquidation of IBRC have now been bought by Goodman.
This appears to give Goodman, who already owns a 27 per cent stake, control of just over 55 per cent of Blackrock Clinic.
