Banks and financial institutions are paying rugby clubs up to €500 for a single ticket for next weekend’s Heineken European Cup semi-final between Leinster and Munster.

Banks and financial institutions are paying rugby clubs up to €500 for a single ticket for next weekend’s Heineken European Cup semi-final between Leinster and Munster.

Clubs affiliated to the Munster and Leinster branches have received an allocation of tickets and a significant proportion of those have been sold on to banks and large Irish companies. Clubs have traditionally used their ticket allocation for international matches as a means of generating revenue.
