Bankruptcy rules must be equitable

Sean Quinn is within his rights to apply for bankruptcy in the North. Yet it will only increase the annoyance of people in the Republic that someone who is going to cost the taxpayer a couple of billion euro through gambling on Anglo Irish Bank shares could be free, in a bit more than a year, to start a new business and hold onto the profits.
