The banks who got us into the mess are determined to extract their pound of flesh from their victims. Europe is doing the same to Ireland, and won’t change its tune until the whole edifice of the EU is threatened
Already, there are clear signals from the new government that the appalling financial status quo bequeathed to us by the previous government will remain.
So much for all the talk of renegotiation around voting time.
