Bank of Scotland (Ireland) has tightened its grip on the Irish hotel market, seizing two properties and a related theatre in Co Mayo.

The British lender has appointed receivers to the TF Royal Hotel and the Harlequin Hotel in Castlebar, as well as the Royal Theatre, one of the largest live entertainment venues in the country.
